Determined to challenge and change the narrative that tribes are the problem by going back into history and use the lessons and theexperiences of history to redefine the future the project is helping young people use the history possessed by their elders to draw parallels about political participation then and now. The objective is to use the endangered wealth of knowledge possessed by theelderly as a key cog towards social justice, where young people are the beneficiaries of this knowledge, while atthe same time, propping up the voices of the elderly. It is an initiative meant to oversee the change, the mental shift from tribal-based politics to issue based elections where leaders shall be elected out of their competence and policies and not throughtribe in an effort to builda generation of change makers; a powerful youthful generation that will not be used by politicians, and tribal lords to cause chaos, but which will transform Kenya in as far as its leadership is concerned. Tribeless Youth's goal is to challenge and change the narrative that tribes are the problem by going back into history and use the lessons and the experiences of history to redefine the future. In an effort to create more opportunities for the youth in the target areas, theywork to enhance and build their capacities through trainings on new media, production and content generation. Through its website and new media platforms, Tribeless Youth provides a platform for youth voices to be heard.
