PARTICIPATING ORG REFERENCE ROLE TYPE
Indonesian Planned Parenthood Association (IPPA) was established on December 23, 1057. It emerged from the idea that there needs tobe an organisation that deals with the control and regulation of pregnancy and birth in Indonesia. IPPA has been able to perform its role as an NGO and is known as a pioneer in the family planning movement. They still consistently engage in the field of family planning, population, and reproductive health. Their vision is to be a centre of excellence for programme development on independent sexual and reproductive health advocacy. Mission: 1. Develop an information, education, and counseling centre as well as sexual and reproductive health services focused on the quality of family planning, rights-based and gender perspective services, through improving the role of IPPA to become professional, credible, independent, and sustainable. 2. Empower communities to be able to make thebest decisions for themselves and behave responsibly in terms of sexual and reproductivehealth. 3. Influence policymakers to provide support and commitment to ensure the fulfilment of sexual and reproductive rights.

General
Women in Prisons (WBP) are vulnerable to violence. This stems from the unequal power relations between them and correctional officers. Various forms of violence can emerge: psychological, economic (bullying) and possibly physical. The diversity of the social and economic status of WBP is another source of violence. WBP are economically less well-off have to work for those who have more incomeand status. Their inability to reconcile with the past triggers uncomfortable feelings and can lead to revenge ononeself or others. This project uses a Human Centered Design approach to strengthen WBP, their family support and supportive prison environment. WBP receive health services in the form of pap smears, contraception and menstrual needs, and counseling bypsychologists. Reproductive health training and GBV, mental health and skills are organised as part an effort to improve WBP knowledge and skills. Family supportis to increase through the establishment of a CARE family forum. These series of discussionsare expected to establish and strengthen the support system for the WBP. Prison officers who have knowledge and skills in the field of reproductive health and GBV can minimize the opportunities for violence due to a more positive perspective on WBP. Withgood knowledge, it is hoped that the prison can continue the programme with the resources they have when the project ends.
