Operating in synergy with Camfed's existing GEC-T project, the 'Girls learn, succeed and lead' project will replicate and build on successful strategies developed in Tanzania under Camfed’s GEC1 project in order to reach an additional cohort of marginalised girls to improve their transition, retention and learning in junior secondary school. The project will run in five additional regions in Tanzania (in 12 peri-urban districts) to meet the needs of around 7,000 girls.
