DESCRIPTION
Funding of this program is for support to Scholarships delivered in Papua New Guinea (PNG) for existing Pacific Island Country (PIC) awardees and for the 2013 intake of students selected under the Australian Regional Development Scholarships (ARDS). Support includes payment of tuition fees, in country training costs, living expenses and other administrative allowances supporting awardees as required. These scholarships awards will address front line service delivery in health and education. The total value of this initiative is $32.7 million over 8 years, starting 2012-13.
